Update 4/16/2003

Baby John is doing very well.

We are all so very Thankful to the Lord for guidance and strength

And to the doctors and nursers at Children's hospital for their kindness and for their special abilities with enabling Baby John to recover from the very serious condition.

And to all who have sent out prayer and cards.

Each day John becomes stronger and stronger.

He is on his mothers’ breast milk and has gained almost 3 pounds.

The hospital has put him in a sm. baby bed and even has toys @ a;).

Mommy can hold him, bath him and does much of his care.

This means so very much to his mother to be able to help instead of being helpless.

I am sure that Mommy is very good for Baby John's health being there. His eyes light up when she walks into the room and his heart rate does also.

Baby John stays awake about an hour and a half at will.

I could give many medical reports but what I have shared with you is what is important.

It will be another two to three mouths before he will be able to go home.

Yes, This is hard but we just keep counting our blessings.

Chastity (Mommy) is holding up with prayer and guidance from the Lord. She is still staying at the Ronald McDonald House next to Children's Hospital.

I must add that the Ronald McDonald House has been so very kind to Chastity and to the entire family.

What a wonderful place to be in time of need.

Thank-You Ronald McDonald @ a ; ). http://www.rmhc.com/

Please continue your prayers for Baby John and his mother Chastity. Recovery will take much time.

I am a true believer that the Lord hears our Prayers. Thank each and everyone who cares.

In Christ Name……Grandma…. : )
