You entered my life a
few years ago
I have had the joy of watching you grow
As I have held you
close to my heart
I have prayed to God that he be a part
Of your daily life in
all that you do
That he always be there to guide and protect you
The love
we share is sincere and true
My life would be empty if not for
you
I know there are times
when you think I'm wrong
Maybe my words are just a little too strong
But
my words are always honest and true
Because I know there will never be;
another you
I want you to look back
on this someday
With happy memories, and you can say
My Gram loved me, she
truly did
She gave me her best, cause I was her kid.
Even though someday we
may have to part
I have you little girl right here in my heart
You
remember this for as long as you live
I have taken all the love you had to
give
I have it buried deep
within my heart
It will live there forever, even if we part.
So keep a
smile on your pretty face
Because
In my heart no one can ever, ever take your place.
